Sold by ONE Sotheby’s International Realty in Miami, this private island estate had a list price of $52,000,000.

Miami, Florida. This home was originally listed for $60 million, had been on the market since early 2011, and recently sold for $47 million, a record for a single-family house in Miami-Dade County. The buyer, a Russian who bought the home in the name of a U.S.-based limited-liability company, now owns this Indian Creek estate on a small gated island, with a private golf course, that is home to a number of celebrity residents, including Julio Iglesias. The 30,000-square-foot home has glass walls overlooking Biscayne Bay and was designed to feel like a private resort.

Sold by Sotheby’s International Realty-Montecito-Coast Village Road in 2012, this estate was listed for $15,900,000.

Montecito, California. This 1924 Carlton Winslow-designed Italian Villa graces a spectacular 7.39-acre site, capturing panoramic Pacific Coast and valley views. This was the first time the property was available in more than 30 years. Accommodation also includes a master bedroom, dressing room and two en suite bathrooms, as well as two additional bedrooms and bathrooms.

New York. This 1910 manor house was commissioned by JP Morgan as a wedding gift for his daughter. Set on over five exquisite, waterview acres it also has formal gardens. The main house has been completely renovated, and there is a new three-car garage/exercise room and a new pool house.
